We are creating a centralized pool of Stolen Vehicles
database with the help of the insurance companies and law-enforcers
on our website www.stolenvehicletrackers.com
|
| 2. |
We have requested several insurance companies
to provide us complete Alpha-Numeric Engine and Chassis numbers
of the stolen vehicles (17 digit usually, not the last 6 numerals
as is the practice now).
|
| 3. |
We do not charge anything for data analysis and
web-hosting for vehicular thefts.
|
| 5. |
We charge 6 per cent of the vehicle's IDV (insured
declared value) as per the policy cover if we locate (TRACK) a vehicle
for any company from its list of UNSETTLED claims. The surveyor's
fees is in addition to this.
|
| 6. |
We charge 12 per cent of the vehicle's MARKET VALUE
(at the time of our TRACKING) in case we track a SETTLED vehicle.
This is apart from the surveyor's bills.

This project to Track, Recover
and Restore … Stolen Vehicles… was started on February 1,
2008, as a Pilot Project limited to the state of Jammu and Kashmir,
to begin with.
Prior to that, we made a presentation
to the DGP of J&K police, Mr Kuldeep Khoda, the vigilance commissioner,
Dr Ashok Bhan, and eight IGs of J&K police, on January 30, 2008,
at the state police headquarters in the winter capital Jammu.
